About Me

Ever since I was a kid, I have absolutely loved crafting! From homemade play-dough and slime to 3D origami, I eventually found my way to crocheting. I enjoyed learning new skills and patterns all the way from blankets and hats to selling my own amigurumi plushies in college.

Once I found my way to knitting, though, my love for the craft skyrocketed. I wanted to learn all things knitting and I couldn’t keep my hands still from the very start. When I learned that people hand-dyed yarn, it didn’t take long for blank yarn and acid dyes to reach my doorstep.

That brings us to today! I created By Kiarra M as my way of continuing to do and be involved with all things yarn- and craft-related while also being able to share my love for the craft. I hope that my products convey as much joy and excitement when you receive them as I have in my process of creating them! Each one of my products is creating as genuinely as possible, and I take pride in all things By Kiarra M.

I also aspire to create products with materials that are sustainable and support local and sustainable businesses.  Most of the materials of my projects are sourced locally or through reputable companies.  I take care to ensure that my sources are fueled by good people and good practices overall.
